The 2012 Celtic Series is four great cycling sportives taking place across the four Celtic nations of Ireland, Wales, Brittany, France and Scotland. You can participate in one, two or all Celtic Series events as your 2012 cycling challenge. The events cater for all levels of cycling ability. If you want to try your first cycling Sportive or challenge yourself over some of the finest cycling terrains across Europe, the Celtic Series is the 2012 cycle event for you.
The 2012 Series started in mid April in Brittany France with the Tro Bro Leon over a course known as ‘Mini Paris Roubaix’. Wales is the next stop on May 12th with the Tour of Pembrokeshire offering a real cycling challenge across the picturesque valleys, mountains and rugged coastline of west Wales.
The Tour de Conamara takes place on Sunday May 27th and will introduce cyclists to the most spectacular coastal and mountain cycling route in the West of Ireland. The fourth leg of the series brings us to Ayr Scotland on the 29th July to take on the Graham Obree Ayrshire Sportive over some of the best cycling routes in Scotland.
